Atrium apartment Situla, situated in the heart of Ljubljana, has a rather interesting layout, its main living area fully resembling the layout from the Show flat Situla. Since the clients really loved the Show flat, we used the same greyish colour palette as a key element of this interior design as well. However, our main challenge, creativity-wise, was creating a completely different atmosphere and adjusting to our clients' needs and wishes. We aimed at a more reserved as well as sophisticated design trying to create a glamorous ambience by using details and lighting elements to emphasize the appartement's clean, yet warming atmosphere. The sophisticated structures of the materials used and the radiance of the flat were joined with the open positioning of the furniture and the interior elements of the entry area, thus creating a feeling of welcomeness. The grey tones of the central part of the appartement match nicely with the luminous living room bathing in natural light shining from the atrium. All of this paired with the bleached oak wooden structures creates a harmonic ambience, despite the clash of various colours.
